Reasonable price, good location but just OK stay
Stayed for four nights on a work visit. Arrived late after an international flight so first night crashed out. Room was on 3rd floor, small, finishings rather poor quality but bed comfortable. Second night difficult to get to sleep because of noise from the street (people coming out of the bar, boy racer trying to impress by revving his motorbike) and then 6am wake up courtesy of the reversing lorry, dustbin trucks etc. I know it’s Manhattan but it was like i was on the street. In desparation (at 6.30) went to ask for a room change but told absolutely not possible. Packed up my stuff anyway and on my way out asked different reception staff who said he’d see what he could do (no promises). Came back to a bigger, brighter room on the 12th floor which was great and much appreciated. Didn’t find staff particularly friendly or welcoming, finishings look a bit tired but location good and price was good for a late booking in Manhattan in July.

Very small rooms, great location
The rooms are ridiculous small, the staff in the reception, are ok no as helpful as other hotels. The location is perfect and next door there is a bar that is really nice and cool.

Good enough for one night
Hotel was fine for one night. There were stains on the bedsheets but generally the room was in pretty good order. There wasn't a headboard meaning my pillow kept falling off the bed. There's not much noise insulation so you can easily hear other noisy guests. The sliding door in the toilet/ shower was unusual and didn't give you much privacy. It's close to the subway and some nice places to eat, the staff were friendly on arrival and check out. For the money it was pretty good value - one night was enough though! I'm in my late twenties, this place is definitely better suited to teens/ those in the early twenties.

Tiny, not very comfortable and noisy and not cheap.
