Don’t recommend
This place was honestly just ok. Most likely won’t stay here again due to false advertisement of pool being open, hair in our bathtub before we even used it, and the lady at the front desk being rude and telling me I can go elsewhere.

Exceptional 10.0
I must say when I first checked in
We were put into a room where the bed was not so good, when I went to the front desk I spoke with Adam, he went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I were comfortable. We got moved to a amazing room, were they lelf us in this room for the 3days we stayed. I have never had better care in a hotel untill I stayed here. Thank you red lion, we definitely want to come back and stay.

The hotel is under construction. The pool is too. The hotel is old. Didn’t look like the pics at all. The outside needs to be cleaned and pressure washed. For the price it was just ok.

Gross
I usually don’t leave reviews, however this hotel was just unacceptable. I arrived @4:30pm for check in, and I was told no rooms had been cleaned so I did not have one yet, but I would receive one in 15 minutes. It took a total of 3.5 hours to get a hotel room. Then once inside the bed had many stains & overall the room looked dirty. The “55 inch” tv was really about 20 inches and did not work, also did not have a remote. In addition to lack of cleanliness NONE of their staff were using precautionary measures with covid and were just walking around with no masks. The staff also thought it was appropriate to talk badly about other employees in front of customers and coworkers. Overall just a terrible hotel.

The hotel was fine
The hotel was fine but I would ask the front desk clerk to not ask why I live out of a hotel room. I felt the main reason I came was whisper from the past Photography and since they said no it was bad. The neighborhood reminded me of Pleasantville. I felt it was for the rich population and prices where high.

I am going to be honest arrived 1 hour before checking after a 4 hour drive had to use restroom and was told no because of COVID that we might be able to use the one at the gas station but not sure if they were open. Ended up peeing in bushes because unable to walk all over town looking for a restroom that will allow visitors to use it. This was very dehumanizing and unprofessional. It is not that hard to sanitize a restroom after someone uses it. This hotel should be ashamed of their behavior. As I have always taught my kids always choose kindness. With that being said, a worker named Bambi was kind upon our return to check in. She listened and apologized for the dehumanization, she went above and beyond to bring back kindness and compassion. Thank you Bambi-if it was not for you we would have cancelled and left.

Not bad room but not great.
Arrived at 11pm to check in. The lady working the night shift was really busy and extremely polite and friendly. We had the king room w/ mini fridge and microwave. The room was very spacious and very pleasing the the eye. The bed is a spring style bed that makes noise when you bounce / move / twist. They’re definitely locked coils as the moment transfer across the entire bed. I am a heavy guy and I slept fine on it but my fiancé hated it. Her lower back screamed at her in the morning. I was really surprised the only blanket given was a very thin comforter style of blanket that weights nothing. Thankfully we always bring a small blanket with us as I love to sleep in the cold and my fiancé likes to stay warm. 2/5 stars here. The AC unit was outstanding. Had a button to make the fan stay on consistently. 5/5 stars here. The room did not have a coffee pot but they have 24hr coffee in the lobby. 0/5 stars. The shower was dated but the water pressure was solid and hot enough water I didn’t even turn it past 50% of what it was capable of. Biggest complaint only 2 towels w/ 1 for the flower. They were not that large. My measure app said they were 40x24. 3/5 stars. The hotel seems to be going through a remodel in the hallway, but not sure if they’re remodeling any of the rooms. My room appeared to be remodeled with the decor they used. If this hotel was $80 a night I would have rated it higher but at $150 for a Saturday (Easter weekend) night not so much.

Disappointment
Your site advertised pool and free breakfast, upon arrival pool we were not able to use to to maintenance, and there was no breakfast...the customer service was great, but was lacking employee....front staff was pulled back to clean rooms so service was slow. We had a check in of 4 o’clock but room was not available yet due to under staff issues....the whole hotel was being renovated and should not have had people staying there until finished....rooms were iffy as far as cleanliness but we were tired after a long days drive so felt with it....once again the customer service was great! But disappointed in false advertisements of pool abd breakfast, two of the reasons we stayed at location!
