The area was really good and easy to get to the centre of Amsterdam and beds were really comfortable over a great stay and we will be back

Very good 8.0
An attractive hotel, excellently located for our visit to the Rijksmuseum. There's also a good Indonesian restaurant nearby for rijstafel. Smart shops in the nearby streets.

Update the check in staff and I'd give 3*s
The RUDEST check in experience I have ever experienced, before we had walked up a few steps the reception staff put his hand in our face and insisted we didn't have a booking because THEY had overbooked... We had a booking from 4months previous yet were being shouted at and ordered to go to another one of their hotels. Eventually they realised they'd done wrong but the reception did not apologise for his rudeness. Cleanliness and room were okay, room is very small and shower is stuffed behind the bed with no cover. Meaning the floor got wet easily. Everything felt very cramped. Best thing about this hotel was the bed, views of Wondelpark and the warm lobby (when the horrible reception man wasn't there!). He honestly ruined our stay at we didnt feel comfortable post that horrendous check in. Other than him rest of the staff were pretty friendly!

Very good 8.0
Lovely hotel and location but needs improvements.
Very nice building, good location. The design of the rooms is rather peculiar with the toilet room back to back with the shower room. This is built into the bedroom behind the head of the bed, making the room much smaller. So after using the toilet, you Have to go in to the room, walk around the bed to get to the sink to wash your hands. The shower is also open with no screen so the floor round the sink gets wet and water splashes on the bedroom carpet because... there is no door! This was especially awkward for a brother and sister sharing!! no door and the sink mirror facing the shower. Also: there were no replacing of teabags and creamers for the next day. Our kids (the brother and sister) had a dirty toilet and shower and no teabags or creamers for the whole stay. This is a really nice hotel, in a lovely spot with really nice reception staff but the design of the bedrooms and housekeeping needs to be sorted out.

Clean, modern and close to the city.
A great, modern hotel only a short tram ride away from Dam Square. Competitively priced and offered good value for money. Our room was small, but we only purchased the basic room. Couldn't get a drink at the hotel bar about 1am. Friendly and helpful staff. We didn't choose the breakfast option so not sure what that was like. Happy to recommend and re-visit.
