Hotel Piet Hein
When we first arrived they gave us a room right in the middle of renovation and debris where every where and the stairs, the passage dirty .however, the room was OK. We immediately went to the reception and told them that we are unhappy and they should not sent us to that area and the room. They gave us another room which was in normal condition and cleaner corredor etc. Apart from this the location was great and the reception was helpful.

Lovely, comfortable small room
While the single room is very small, it has everything you could need and was still very comfortable. The hotel makes very good use of the space. I thought the bathroom and shower were especially nice and modern (great water pressure!). The common areas are very polished as well. Great/convenient location in the city!!

do not stay here
It was awful. They were not service oriented. Our room was only suited for one, yet they told us it could fit two. The air conditioning did not work, so you have to sleep with the windows open and we had a stray cat wander in because we were on the ground floor. The television did not work. The lobby television did not work. The patio furniture was disgusting. I would NOT recommend this.

Small room
Well, room was so so small, that we couldn’t really move and it was hard to ignore the fact that there was no space at all..on our reservation room and pictures were different so when we walked in, i was very disappointed. So be prepared for that. Overall we did not go to Amsterdam to sleep all day in the room, but still, would be nice to get what you expect for that amount of money..
