Horrible customer service
We had a real problem getting the shuttle to pick us up at the airport. They would not answer the phone when I selected the front desk option (2). It kept going to voicemail. So I eventually pushed option one for reservations. The guy with the Indian accent who answered said that he was at the Sleep Inn International Airport. So I asked him to send a shuttle to the airport. He demanded to look up my reservation to prove that I had a room. He then after some delay told me that I had two reservations and started arguing with me about that. I told him one had been cancelled over a week before. He refused to believe me and kept saying you have two reservations. Apparently this meant he couldn't send a shuttle. I finally got really angry and said if I have two reservations then send two freaking shuttles right now! Then he finally transferred me to the front desk and the woman didn't want to send a shuttle because our luggage hadn't actually slid out yet. So she told me to call again when the luggage arrived. I finally said "oh my luggage just arrived". So she said she sent the shuttle which was going to take 15 minutes anyway. When we got to the shuttle we found out it at already been ordered for a pilot who was standing out there. So the whole conversation was pointless. Everyone seems so incompetent, passive aggressive to hostile pool guy didn't want to open the pool. He said it was raining. It was as dry as a bone. I had to force him to do his job and open the pool. Not happy!

we stayed in the sleep inn 12 days ago before we left for Belize we had written confirmation from Expedia and I actually went over the directions that will be arriving back at 11:45 from Belize and that they could pick us up and they said as long as we called them before 1145 it would be no problem we left two cars there for 11 days paying a rate to keep them there. We got in to Houston last night at 8:50 pm told them we were in Houston and our flight was on time to Kansas City. We arrived on time had our bags at southwest and property was called by 11:42 told them we had a party of 4 with lots of luggage told me they were on there way. 10 minutes later I called back before midnight asked where the van was I heard the front desk driver arguing with her driver, that he had another pick up. 10 min later I called again she told me I called after midnight so they couldn’t get us. I could tell she was the same person because I could tell from her accent. She told us to wait outside she would send him mind you we had no winter coats we went to Belize our winter coats were in our cars at her hotel. Then she said do you have a reservation for the hotel, I said I have all the paperwork with the confirmation from Expedia. To make a long story short we finally got picked up driver said I don’t pick up if I don’t get a call by 11:45 I asked him if he wanted to see my phone call made at 11:42, when we got to hotel same front desk person giving me the run around about calling after 12mn

Don't let the rating fool you like it did me! The pictures online compared to the actual hotel are night and day difference! This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in period! The carpet throughout the entire hotel is stained and disgusting looking. The carpet in out room stuck to your feet if you walked barefoot across it. After a shower I stood on my towel to get dressed by the bed and there was dirty footprints in the towel when I was done. When you flushed the toilet it smelled like stale old pee. The bathroom faucet handle needs to be perfectly straight when off otherwise it will leak all over the counter and onto the floor. The ice machine on the 3rd floor wasn't working and from what I gathered from the staff it hasn't been working for some time. The pool water tasted salty which made us wonder if the filtration and chlorine was at the proper levels. The location of the smoking area is just outside the front door and next to the pool so we were constantly walking past smoke with young children on the way in and out of the hotel along with smelling it in the pool area.

Will not go back to this hotel. Checking was quick and we were given 2 keys. Right away one would not work. We finally got into our room and noticed the smoke alarm was completely hanging from the ceiling only being held up by its wires. We went to brush our teeth and the sink was clogged. The next morning we went to have breakfast and they did not have any warm food in the trays. We had to eat cereal. We came back that night for our second night and our keys would not work. We finally got in after going to the front desk. The next morning we had a little bit later start and didn’t get to breakfast till around 8:30. The cafeteria was full and we had to wait in line to get food. This time there WAS warm food but 9 came around and we were still waiting our turn and the trays STILL had food in them and a worker came at exactly 9 on the dot grabbed the trays with food and threw it all away right in front of us. We had to check out from the hotel that day without eating anything but a yogurt. Will never be going back. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Poor 2.0
This hotel at stunk, literally smelled awful. It was dirty, like literally I didn't want to have my kids stay in the hotel but we had spent a lot of money and we're just stopping to sleep for 8 hours and could not afford to go pay for another hotel down the road. It's crazy because I searched on Travelocity for an HR reviewing hotels to pay a little more for this one because it looked cleaner. Don't let the pictures fool you! This hotel is a dive. And the front desk lady was on her phone even when checking us in. In the morning there were multiple staff members out the front door smoking. All around a terrible experience to spend so much money on. Would have rather spent the night in a tent
