Comfy room but rude staff
The room was nice, but this hotel has poor customer service issues, especially at the front desk. When I checked in, the front desk clerk came out to the desk carrying his cellphone and propped it up on the computer keyboard while checking me in. I think my arrival interrupted his FaceTime conversation with someone on his phone because he kept glancing at the screen and I could clearly hear someone moving around on the other end of the line, washing dishes or some other noisy activity. When leaving the next morning, I accidentally dropped my drink and muffin in the floor as I was walking through the lobby toward the front door. I turned around to alert the front desk clerk that I'd created a mess in the walkway and she was standing by the desk talking with another lady in a uniform (possibly housekeeping or breakfast staff). They didn't say anything to me but just watched me walk over to the desk to set my stuff down, go into the kitchen area and get napkins, then walk back over and clean it all up. I certainly don't mind cleaning up my own spills, but I was unpleasantly surprised that they made no effort to assist me and then didn't bother to check if I did a sufficient job so other people didn't slip in the liquid on the floor. I was very disappointed at this lack of respect and hospitality toward customers, especially for this price point and level of hotel chain. I chose this hotel because I usually like the Comfort Inn brand, but it was not up to par at all.

Poor 2.0
We booked this hotel because we had our Grandchildren with us and we wanted both a pool and jacuzzi. Upon arrival there was a note laying on the counter saying the pool was closed that morning for maintenance. We tried to use the Jacuzzi but the chlorine smell (from the pool) was so strong it was unbearable. The manager told us we could use a neighboring pool. He also offered us dinner at that same neighboring hotel. Being that it was my husbands birthday we accepted it. When we arrived for dinner at 5pm we were handed a lunch menu. We asked for a dinner menu and we were told the manager of comfort Inn said "No" we could order from lunch menu only. (Then why did he offer us dinner?) Very disappointed .To top things off after going back to our room, we were kept up to almost 4am by some kids partying down the hall. We could here a women screaming at them and finally they were kicked out! Our stay at this hotel was a nightmare. What a way to spend the holiday with our Grandchildren.

Orbitz booked us for the wrong night. When we called to get the right night, our rate was jacked up. Then, when we tried to check in, they said our credit card was refused. Spent up to an hour to find out that the check in person should not have used the code on the back of our card. We will never use orbitz again and not stay at this hotel again.

Left out in the cold
Clerk who checked us in knew we were staying 2 nights but only programmed our room keys for one night. We found this out the hard way. Returned late evening and parked at back of building because closer to our room. Couldn't get in outside door with room key. Bitterly cold out and had to walk full length of building to front desk so room key could be reprogrammed. Expressed disappointment to clerk who was the one who had checked us in. No courtesy on her part. Very disappointing.
