For the service received should’ve just stayed closed. Breakfast was cheap watered down juice and tasteless coffee, warm milk and cheap doughy rolls with cold bacon or rubber sausages. Shouldn’t have to ask to change towels sealed bag at the door would’ve worked. And staff wearing a mask doesn’t mean they can’t acknowledge our existence only one member of staff said hello whole weekend. My booking was dearer option to include cancellation due to covid and breakfast, could’ve bought at local Aldi for £2, wish I had taken cheap option certainly not worth what we paid. I’m a nurse and worked through covid so totally understand restrictions but not a happy stay

Stay at this hotel quite frequently, however we were not entirely happy with the breakfast we had paid for. Due to Covid situation breakfast consisted of bacon or sausage batch which was cold when we came to eat it, cereals coffee or tea. We would have liked to be told about breakfast arrangements before hand. We would probably have booked room only as on the second morning we left the hotel without breakfast we’d paid for.

This will be the 3rd time we have stayed at Holiday Inn M6 , Always found it to be excellent! Hygiene ,Staff lovely and helpful and they Smile! During this difficult time of the Cov 19 situation and having only recently reopened the hotel provided good sanitation freely available and clear information of guidlines. Monica your little slogans on windows and mirror did make me smile.A lovely touch! And a very pleasent helpful young man on reception was a bonus!

Staff were really helpful, my disabled room was fantastic. There was even somewhere to put my own shampoo etc which was within reach while I was sat on the shower seat - and I had a full range of shampoo, conditioner, showergel provided too. Only issue was with the swimming pool, no disabled shower and I couldn't physically get my powerchair through the door into the women's changing. In reality this meant I zoomed around on the powerchair wearing a cossie and some towels!

We have stayed here a few times now over the years, but I don't think it has improved. it is just average. I don't think I will go back because they have now started to charge for car parking which I think is very cheeky. will they be charging for towels or soap next? The only real positives are the front desk staff and swimming pool.
