Grand Hotel Baglioni
Short trip to Florence
Great friendly and knowledgeable staff. We have stayed in Florence on many occassions but this was the first and definitely not the last time we stay at Grand Hotel Baglioni. Next time we go I hope to use the roof terrace as it looks stunning.

A restaurant with a spectacular view!
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the SMN train station. This was how I arrived to the city, and the meeting point for my day trip to Siena. I also loved the photos of the hotel, with the wooden beamed ceilings. Service was great, never much of a wait for the front desk. My key card didn't work a few times, which was a pain. The breakfast had a good variety, and the view from the fifth floor restaurant was breathtaking. The weather was terrible, but in good weather they have lovely outdoor spaces to relax. They provide you with toiletries and a hair dryer, so no need to pack those. The bed was a bit firm, and the rooms weren't very soundproof but that is due to the historic nature of the property. I would highly recommend a stay here. Note: there is a lot of construction going on in front of the hotel, so it was unsightly. But I didn't hear the noise on my side of the hotel.

Grand Hotel Baglioni
The Hotel is getting a bit tied but very clean the floor in our room was wood and very very noisy to walk on squeaked no matter what you did. The staff in reception was vey helpful recommended and really wonderful restaurant for a special meal, However the roof top bar staff were quite rude and not very welcoming I had arranged a bottle of champagne to be delivered to our room on arrival as it was our anniversary we decided as it was a lovely evening we would take it and enjoy it on the roof bar, however the waiter said we could not do that as it was purchased from the in room service and not at his bar. As you can imagine we was disappointed and asked to see a manager no-one was on the roof it was empty as it was quote early how ever he allowed us to but was quite annoyed they did not welcome us at all so never ate in the restaurant which was a shame as it looked very nice.

Dark and miserable, rude front desk.
Horrible smelly hotel, with squeezing floor, dirty furniture, uncomfortable bed. Looks like one of those haunted houses from horrors.

Very close to the station
Very good but my single room was quite awkward, especially the bathroom.
