Some hiccups but the room was just what we needed for our family trip! The pool wasn’t open when we got there (I wish they had let us know before hand bc that was a big part of our evening plans with the kids). Silverware and glasses had chips in them, we ended up going to Walmart and buying paper plates/cups and plastic cutlery. I asked for more towels (we are family of 5 and there was only 3 towels) and was told we couldn’t get more than 4 at a time, which makes no sense to me at all, that was a disappointment for sure. Overall, the room did what we needed it to do, just wish it had been a smoother stay!

This hotel has wonderful staffing. It should advertise that there is no room cleaning/straightening each day. I was told that the only cleaning would be after I checked out. The hotel carpeting in the halls was very dirty and not taken care of at all. The room furnishings were also dated and need updating. The dishes were clean but had been left inside the dish washer. There was only one fork, two knives that were rusted as was the can opener. In fact, when I requested silverware and knives and another can opener, the just threw the old and rusted stuff away. The refrigerator was not extraordinarily clean and the ice had been in the freezer for a long time as it was very old smelling and tasting. Once the ice holding tray was emptied and cleaned, it did hold ice. And the ice was good from that point until we left. The hotel is in a beautiful location. However...the staff was fantastic!! All of the staff that I talked with and dealt with were wonderful. All were very friendly, very helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Would I stay here again? Sure. Do I recommend that Hilton give this location a more up to date facelift? Absolutely!!

Saturday night we had an employee knock on the door and advise "we've had several noise complaints and if we get another call you will have to leave" - rude & abrupt. Never mentioned any noise issues prior and to be honest there was noise coming from several rooms. To be told that the next call we would have to leave when we had not been warned before was a bit much. If you had received "several" complaints why are we only being notified of this one?

I will never stay at this hotel again. The walls were so thin we could hear people talking in the next room. The rooms smelled musty. They may have a mold issue. I paid entirely too much for this room. I will not be back.
