Exceptional!
Fabulous! Would loved to have stayed longer - fantastic location, huge rooms, warm welcome and superb service from lovely staff who all seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Enjoyed pool and sauna and would loved to have tried the complementary horse riding. Excellent dinner and massive breakfast choice in the restaurant. Well done all at The Dunloe! (Only tiny weeny gripe, if any, no tea/coffee facility in the room - strange). Will definitely return.

Fantastic!
Everything about the trip was fantastic. We had a garden view and the rooms were huge with a double balcony. The views were amazing, perfect location. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Great long weekend trip
I would highly recommend this hotel. It is nestled in the countryside, just a short car/taxi journey from Killarney and walking distance to the Gap of Dunloe tourist stop. Beautiful hotel from the outside and has an old-fashioned but still very plush style inside. Staff are all very personable, polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet is one of the best I've had in a long time. My only criticism is the water temperature of the shower in Rm 510 cycles between hot and cold regardless of the setting. It wasn't bad enough to prompt me to complain as everything else was just perfect.

Excellent Dog friendly hotel
Recently refurbished ground floor rooms specifically for dog owners with bedding and bowls provided. Rooms have hard wood floors, fenced patio and a separate entrance with hand shower and towels for wet, muddy pets. Excellent 5 star accommodation and facilities for the owners and a delightful outlook from the rooms to fields full of ponies and cattle and the mountains beyond.

We could not have been more pleased. The perfect antidote to the summer crowds in Killarney. Restaurant was good. Pool was lovely. Grounds were beautiful. Animals contributed to the peaceful environment. Would make a special point of staying here on a return trip to Ireland. Two nights was not enough.
