My wife bought me to the Emblem hotel for my birthday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was nice and quiet. Love the Beat vibe and decor. The bar was warm and inviting but I wish they would offer more bar food options. The location is great and would definitely stay here again.

good stay overall
weekend in the bay for business and a bit of pleasure. easy check in, clean rooms, and free sangria, whats not to love. if i do have a critique its that the security deposits are conquerring by day so it was 150 per night for each night, that almost $450 out of your budget that is put on hold and no telling when it will come back to you. patiently waiting. ive never ruined a hotel room, i always leave them clean. never break anything. there should be a way to account for that, or it should be clearly noted when booking... great stay overall. SF is rough these days almost dangerous, we might start looking elsewhere for future stays.

Friendly front desk who checked us in and gave us a drink to kick off the stay. Location is convenient to Union square and bars, all within walking distance. Rooms are smaller than pictured, and it gets pretty noisy, sound travels through the hall way and from adjacent rooms. Also I wish the lighting selections were better in the room, the white fluorescent lights used in the room washes out everything.

The room was very small with no a table, not a place where to put the suitcase. The closet was also on the small range. The only big thing at the hotel was the price.
