Luxury with super service. Great location for all that The Waterfront offers.

Good 6.0
Overall, the reception and cleanliness was excellent. The breakfast was chaotic, told twice there was no table for us in a manner that was off hand. After the first morning, the promise for a reserved table did I not materialise. The overflow space while okay was coupled with poor service having to wait at least 15 minutes and then ask again for the hot opinions. Some of the female staff were excellent while the male staff were arrogant and off hand. The concierge service was mixed. Much better when staff not usually servicing it were at hand to help and advise. The room was good with excellent views. Beautiful location. All in all, on the expensive side especially considering the breakfast. The hotel in the same chain at Port Elizabeth was superb in comparison - the breakfast room, service and the range of breakfast was all excellent. Our breakfast experience at Cape Town spoilt our last few days of our holiday in South Africa
