It was a good place to stay. Close to where we needed to be. Clean. Comfortable. It smelled good. The only problem was breakfast, but it is understood why. But I do miss the waffles and fake eggs!

Overall the stay was average. The pool was under construction which they did not share when booking. The hotel smelled strongly of cologne and mothballs which is my biggest complaint. The bathtub in our room needs to be replaced the floor had several cracks. Staff was very friendly.

We stayed 2 nights over memorial day weekend and it was nice. We brought our dog so we had to stay in a pet friendly room, which was clean and accomodating. We had enough towels and the beds were comfy. Would stay again.

Hotel is in need of Updating...
Hotel is in need of updating. Bedding is outdated, drapes were torn, no screen on window, peeling paint on the celing. Pool area was cluttered with plants, hot tub was out of order. Hallway had an odd odor.

The motel was conveniently located near the main highway. The check in was easy. Our room was ready when we got there. We had difficulty using our key cards to get in our room door. It took us approximately 5 attempts to open our door. Motel staff attempted to use our door key cards and swiped them 3 times before the door opened for her. She told us we would just have to pull the handle up instead of pushing it down to get in our room. We had trouble getting in our door each time we attempted to get in. We were never offered different key cards for our room. When my husband went to hang some items up in the closet, he discovered wadded up dirty towels in the closet floor. The bathroom room lacked a ventilation system which was evident by the black mold that was showing up on the ceiling. We will not staff at this motel again.

Our go-to hotel in Macomb. We visit frequently to visit our son in college and always stay here. Staff is super friendly, hot breakfast every day, indoor pool, clean comfortable rooms with mini fridge & microwave.
