La Maison Champs Elysées

We arrived late in the evening at the hotel, the "check in" process was total chaos, the keys to our rooms didn't work (wasn't resolved before the next day), one room didn't have any light and the 2 kids beds that was requested were not there. I guess I don't have to tell that this did not make it easier to handle 2 tired and sleepy kids....... the key "show" continued all 4 nights, but this was not the worst, they no top of all the rest, they cheated us by providing us with lesser quality rooms than we had ordered and paid for, only because due to the other things, I checked it and found out. When I confronted them with it they didn't care and would not offer any financial compensation (didn't deliver the product give me my money back). To keep the record straight then did they upgrade one of the 2 rooms on the 2nd day and gave us a bottle of what the referred to as wine (a joke, left it at the hotel). I can only recommend anyone looking for a good experience in Paris to take one of the many other good hotels that are there, and leave these cheaters with empty rooms.

I was disappointed by this Maison margila boutique hotel , with 5 star rating it should be less than 4 !!! Amount of money u pay for the location only , other its less than satisfactory like the linens there is cutting every where, the bathroom rob there is holes on it (see pictures) maison margiela ur name was disrespectful , the bathroom in general there is no maintenance at all , the wood tore up (see picture) the most shocking the coffe nespresso tube just give one time only ! Its like welcome note hahaha , and every single day without tubes just envelop quick coffee , one more noticed thing the room without any kind of usb port (other hotel by default the usb port in each side of the bed) , in other side the first tow days in paris i was in 4 star hotel (le terrase by hm) , its perfect in every way the shampoo products from l’occitane , the coffee nesspersso providing every day, the different kind of luxury tea from the famous tea shop in paris providing also ! The decorations and cleanliness amazing , its waste of money for this hotel , i wish i can exchange my nights back there again but i already paid advance my stay , never back again in this hotel .

We were very disappointed with this hotel. I could not believe this is the five star hotel (who decided it is??). First, we were surprised with hotel's staff behavior. They were not kind or polite. They did not help us to bring the baggages from the entrance. They told us the wrong place of the supermarket. They did not apologize when I noticed that. Also, facilities were poor. There were no gym. The room was super small with no sofas but cheap chairs. Towels were old and smell. In addition, they did not change the sheets of the bed. We stayed 3 nights but they did never changed the sheets. Is this usual in France. I could not believe it... Only one thing we satisfied is the location. This is easy access to metro No 1 and Camps Elysees street.

We had a great three nights in the Maison. The staff were helpful, prepared for us coming, and when we had a slight problem of our room not having hot, only tepid, water they did their best to sort it as quickly as possible and they gave us a bowl of fruit to compensate. The room was a very good size for Paris and it was nice and quiet facing a courtyard. The bed was very comfy with a topper on it for extra sumptuousness. We did not eat in the hotel as it was pricey. There is a very good brasserie just a few steps away however so we had breakfast there and a couple of lunches. The hotel is a very short walk to the nearest metro station and it is well placed for getting down to the River Seine for walks or bateaux mouches at the Pont d'Alma and for the Champs Elysees. The number one metro line is the nearest to the hotel and it takes you to most of the places you would want to visit - the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay, the Tuileries gardens, the Ile de la Cite for Notre Dame etc. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was beautiful from the moment we arrived the staff were so helpful both about the hotel and it's surrounding areas. Arriving in our room it was very spacious, clean, comfortable and elegant. My wife and I both had a wonderful sleep. We were there for around 5 minutes when their was a knock on the door and the staff had sent us some champagne and snacks as they realised upon check in it was my Wifes birthday, this was a wonderful gesture as we hadn't even mentioned it. It's location is superb just a couple of minutes walk to the Champs Elysses and with the Grand Palais at the end of the street. I will 100% be staying at this hotel the next time we frequent Paris. The only draw back is it gives you car envy looking at the Aston Martin Dealership next door.
