Grim - Do not recommend
For the price this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The communal areas are nice but the room is very dingey and has a strange smell. we booked a room with a sea view and we ended up with a room that was above the bar and looked out onto another building. We called for room service on one of the days and had to call five times before someone picked up the phone. During our stay there was issues with the water pressure which meant it was difficult to get a shower. One of the days it was so bad that we booked into another hotel. The seal didn't work on the shower door which meant the whole bathroom was basically flooded every time I took a shower. WiFi was good and the food at Hardy's restaurant was only okay. The room was quite large but this did not compensate for how grim the vibe and décor was.

Lovely Hotel, good location with lots of character
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in this charming and character filled hotel over the May Bank Holiday. It coincided with our silver wedding anniversary and Aiden and his staff did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We had a lovely suite overlooking the sea and made the most of the great location for access to shopping and fabulous golf courses within easy travel distance. All in all a great experience. We'll be back for sure.
