Certainly NOT 5 star accommodation
I stayed for 2 nights and found that the staff were very nice and the breakfast was really good, the room although clean are extremely outdated and very small, the furniture is very shabby so I'm not sure how or why it's rated because as a 5 star it most certainly is not.....very disappointing!

One night getaway
Walls of room a bit thin, heard everything our neighbours had to say. Shower head didn't work. Was 2 singles pushed together to make a double bed. Staff however were superb.

A safe (if expensive) choice in the centre
Upscale hotel in a very central part of town, at the end of the main shopping street and surrounded by bars and restaurants. There is a tram stop opposite and a taxi rank. Hotel itself is nice, luxurious in an unadventurous, traditional, department store sort of way. Its not a huge place and the public areas are a little small and disappointing. No rooftop bar when we were there in December. Front desk staff were amazingly friendly, almost too much so.
