The room was far too small for a couple staying 3 nights. Ideal for a business person staying 1 night. Wifi not good in room. Expensive, but it was Golden Week.

City centre location
Bed and bathroom was too small. Room was next to elevator so noisey. Tea and coffee was fine but tv is not good for English people. Good location for food and bars and close to Osaka station.

Good hotel in Osaka
Great hotel in Osaka, just a bit difficult to locate. The taxi driver had to call the hotel to ask. (We had trouble our first stay earlier in May too.) It is near the Osaka train station , and a lively area for shops and restaurants. Post Office nearby. Rooms were small but comfortable, hard pillows. WiFi good, all amenities. Happy to go back.

Great, taxi is the best way to get there.
We returned to Hotel REI, we were here for 3 days recently, then another night. Difficult to find the first time, taxi second time, he even got lost! 10 minutes from station ( Osaka City), and a good location for shopping and sightseeing trips.

Excellent hotel in great location -- Go Swalows!
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is new, extremely clean and staffed by genuinely helpful and friendly people. The rooms aren't big -- though good-sized by New York or London standards -- but are thoughtfully laid out. Great public bath with hot soaking pool, whirlpool and cold tub. The location couldn't be better -- across the street from Meiji Jingu stadium. From our room we had a perfect view to watch the Yakult Swallows play. much of the neighbordood centers around baseball and the Swallows, which is appealing. Hotel is 5-7 minutes by foot from a Ginza line subway station and just a couplke of stops from Shunjuku and Shibuya. Coffee shops, including a Starbucks, grocery stores, post office, banks and lots of small ramen and other cafes are likewise nearby. For being across the street from the ballpark the neighborhood was pretty quiet most of the time -- no trouble sleeping. Only thing I would criticize is lack of a free breakfast. You could buy breakfast for about 2,500 yen, pretty steep. But no problem finding food nearby. We saved money by getting bento boxes to go from nearby markets along with baked goods for breakfast
