Crowne Plaza Brussels - Le Palace
Bad mattress, great food. Friendly reception staff
Negative - outside centre, bit of a walk in. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable for my partner and I (it was a topper on top of what looked like an old mattress - we both woke up with sore backs). Staff a bit rude at breakfast. Positive - Reception staff lovely, communal areas very attractive, breakfast massive. Standard room generous size and massive bathroom.

ok place to stay but there are better hotels
reception staff not that helpful, seem to be giving out Beer tokens for poor quality rooms!! not good at giving directions to rooms or telling you the right lift to use

Great hotel! Service just need slightly improving
Hotel was great, bar was nice- amazing cocktails, good breakfast and lovely room. Service on a whole could be improved. Also, the movies and the streaming media to the TV was not working at all, wouldn’t mind at all but what was annoying was we spoke to someone at reception about it, and said that we were going out for some food so if someone could please take a look while we were out that would be much appreciated. We came back hours later and nothing had changed, nor had they mentioned anything to us. The telephone did not work to ring down to reception either. And when we checked out the next day we just made them aware of the problem and that no-one came, which they did not know of (so no notes were made previously on our account). But what was most disappointing was that I had advised the hotel when booking that it was my husband’s birthday (I had booked this as a surprise) so if they could make it as special as possible that would be great, but on his actual birthday we had to struggle with the room facilities and be ignored when asked about having it fixed. Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the service could just do with being improved then it would be perfect. Would definitely recommend the location!

Not great
Room is very dated (except for the TV): 2 old and small queen beds with soft mattress over hard surface, and old and noisy AC. The gym was decent in terms of equipment, but the AC was broken so extremely hot little room. Breakfast was OK but quite pricey.

for the money, stay somewhere else
room full of not useful furniture, so cluttered as not very big with useless things, kettle is small cupboard with clothes (horrible idea),impossible to reach curtains to draw due to vast desk (no drawers), little space for clothes and storage, poor cleaning, breakfast very variable (do they not plan to get more fresh fruit in, were there 4 days, only ok on 1 day). its a really old hotel and they have tried to bring it up to date, clearly with some difficulty. On the plus side, great bed and aircon works well, as does wifi
