Fair 4.0
Not a very nice wake up call!!
Nice room but not happy at being woken by workers in the next room at 08.00 when I didn’t to get up until 10.00!!! Corridor outside the room was like a building site with debris and furniture to tackle en route. Bar prices extortionate as well.

Exceptional 10.0
Comfortable room. Air con a blessing.
In Manchester for a wedding. Unfortunately unable to make use of the facilities. Comfortable standard room. Decent fridge. Be aware of the office staff opposite and remember to draw your curtains or change in the bathroom. Air con a blessing.

Good 6.0
Beautiful hotel with great service and facility
This was my second time I stayed in this hotel but this time we got the Street side room which no secondary glaze due to being a listed hotel. This meant that we could hear every siren, screams etc from the street... shame as the room was Superior and bed really comfortable and felt like luxury. Take your ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise. We used the spa for 2 full days and loved every minute. Great facility. Treatment was very relaxing. I would recommend you mention to anyone using the SPA to respect the relaxation room as it's supposed to be a place where you chill and be in peaceful area..... it was too noisy and others were just talking loud and not so much relaxing in the end. Breakfast service was fantastic with great selections to choose from. Service was excellent from the team which made the start of the day a cheerful one. Location is awesome if you want to be in City Centre as everything is walking distance plus Metrolink opposite the hotel. Oxford Road station is 5 min walk. I would definitely stay again but ask for a room facing inwards just to keep the noise level as low as possible. Lovely bar and coffee area and the cocktails are beautifully made by the bartender.

Very good 8.0
Comfy stay and friendly hoteliers
I have stayed here for 6 nights and I really enjoyed my stay. First of all, the location is wonderful, 3 mins walking distance to market street and next to a metrolink station. Secondly, every member of staff is so friendly and helpful and I have to give them appraised. Bed and beddings are comfy and the buffet English breakfast is superb warm and delicious. The only downside is the conditions of the building, which needs some maintenance work for the tiles and drainage way in the bathroom, maintenance of the wallpaper which is damp, and the lobby hall ceilings is leaking.

Good 6.0
Lovely hotel. Great choice at breakfast & beautiful breakfast room. Our Standard room was clean but small & overall a bit of a disappointment, have stayed in much less ‘prestigious’ hotels with far superior rooms. Nice stay but wouldn’t book again.
