Very disappointing hotel. Apart the newly refurbished lobby, the rooms are old fashioned and with cleaning issues. Service is also sub-optimal. They pretended to offer me free internet as VIP client, but they still charged me the full facility fee that actually includes internet! So what is the point of lying? Plus they did not ask for my signature before charging that on my credit card. It seems they have done this in other reviews so make sure you pay with your credit card (so you can block them after). Avoid.
The hotel’s location was very central to what we wanted to do during our stay. The rooms were furnished well and the bed very comfortable.
Great location and good ambience. Friendly staff too.
Good location and room facilities...... not the most welcoming hotel I have ever stayed in but still a good hotel
Location was great - nice bar if a little small attached to restaurant
Well positioned to explore DC. Easy walking distance to most areas of interest.
Property was very central and front line staff very accommodating. When we arrived for a 3 night stay we reported a broken toilet seat but no one appeared for the whole of our stay which was very awkward with 4 adults and 1 child
Near all amenities and tourist locations which are walkable. Didn’t realise they were renovating the bar/restaurant so this was closed.
Very central to everything. GreT and helpful check in staff
The hotel was lovely, but there was never any mention that both the restaurant and the bar were both undergoing refurbishment - whilst this was meant to be ready for April 2019, the latest estimates are now late June/July 2019. In addition to this, I booked a King Room with a Park View - Do not believe the photo attached to such a room. You do not get a room on a high floor overlooking the whole park. Instead, you get a room on the 4th floor with a view of the nearest tree! Whilst the rooms are very comfortable, the only mirrors are in the bathroom and by the door. There isn't a practical place for my wife to get ready, unless she sat on the floor by the big mirror where the nearest plug socket is only just close enough.
