Holiday Inn Express Howe

The hotel was very clean and was clearly doing everything possible to follow new guidelines and expectations on cleanliness. We were really pleased to have great breakfast options, including some hot food. The beds were ridiculously comfortable....we just needed more time to be able to sleep in them!

This hotel was really clean and the staff was very helpful! We got there early before check out exhausted and she made sure to have someone go clean my room right away so I could check in early. What a wonderful thing to do! Overall great experience.

Clean, quiet, great breakfast with lots of choices even during pandemic.

Our family, including a pet (cat), stayed for 1 night recently. We found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable. We liked the modern design of the room and loved the beds! If you have a dog it seems like a great stop, as there is a large lawn area surrounding the hotel. We opted not to use the pool, as it is a little small and not ideal for physical distancing right now. But other than that, it was a great stay!

I did not like that none of the staff were wearing masks and there were a number of guests congregated by the lobby entrance also not wearing masks.

The room was clean, however we requested a roll away bed, we got it, paid for it, and it didn't fit into the room! They should have either told us there wouldn't be enough room to open it or not offer it. My daughter literally had to sleep in it while it was still folded!

My trip was one for the books. Originally had booked another hotel through Expedia. However due to the hotel attempting to pull the bait and switch (literally double charge me), I got in touch with Expedia. They booked me in another hotel for the same price. Got to the hotel, the front desk lady upgraded us to a suite. Super nice lady regardless of upgrading us. I had a bit trepidation considering it was right next to the toll road. Our room faced the toll road. I thought it would be loud. Not a sound from it. The beds were so soft we are now buying the same mattress, topper, sheets, pillows and duvet. (We got the info on where to buy it from the lady who was working that night). We didn't want to get out of the bed it was that soft. They have FULL size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in their shower. Full SIZE! This is unheard of! And it is a great brand too that is allergy/sensitive skin friendly. Another score. The towels were so nice. They were just soft enough that they comforted your skin when you dried off and yet not too soft that you were left soaking wet still. (another thing we got home and purchased) We brought out furry baby with us. The pet fee was really reasonable considering how nice the accommodations were. The parking lot was nice and easy to get in and out of. Everything is very close (Walmart, etc). When I come back up in another month, I will be booking with this location. All the staff we encountered was super friendly. They set the bar.

I appreciate this place even more after staying in a different, crappier hotel later in the trip. The AC was nice and quiet, breakfast included hot pre-wrapped breakfast sandwiches (a covid mandate) and bottled drinks, very comfortable double queen beds with plenty of pillows, indoor pool open until 10 pm, clean room, and spacious area for the dog to run around outside. It was everything my partner and I we're looking for during our 2-day road trip with a pup.
