When we booked the hotel a few months ago we were never informed part of it was being renovated, we chose the hotel based on the pictures and reviews at the time. Upon arrival we found that the bar / restaurant was closed

A great location and a place that I always return to stay whilst visiting Dublin. Extremely warm rooms in the summer which makes it difficult to get a comfortable sleep but otherwise great choice.

Super uncomfortable
The location is alright. They put me in a triple room with all single beds even though I wanted a double room. They wouldn't change me as they argued the hotel was full. The shower smelled bad and there was humming noise all night. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. I slept terribly. Do not recommend this hotel at all.

Room to front of hotel. Lot of traffic late at night. We were told breakfast would be from 8am. No breakfast in hotel. Had to go to a nearby cafe. Over priced.

The West End (of Temple Bar)
Hotel was quite nice. The reception area is very small, the restaurant is closed for refurb, so no breakfast available, but lovely cafe next door. The hotel is on a narrow road and each time I was in my room there was some angry driver getting annoyed at other drivers for not leaving room to pass, mildly amusing, but also unnecessary. The road should be one way or mo parking. The room was comfy, bathroom good size and lots of amenities. Complimentary Bottles of water and biscuits in the room with a pod coffee machine. Hotel is on the west edge of the Temple Bar area, the quiet end, so some nice bars, cafes, restaurants very close.
