5 star beautiful-property ;Beware of Base rooms
STEIN ERICKSON; Wonderful family ski trip with beautiful lobby, lounge, and outstanding food and service. Close Proximity to Main Street with free shuttle service. Amazing ski in /ski out location and service. Friendly accommodating staff. Rooms clean and comfortable but buyer beware; base level deluxe rooms ($1000 per nite before tax and fees) very disappointing. My deluxe room with 2 queen beds was ground floor, no view of mountain, no fireplace, no couch, facing inner courtyard and very far Outdoor walk from Room to Main lobby and restaurants/ski locker rooms/ fitness center ( long walk up and down stairs in 20 degrees) When I asked for a slightly nicer/closer room, add a fireplace, not ground floor view, manager said they only had large rooms with kitchen hot tub suites for $1800 per night. I asked for her to follow up the following day for other options but she never called so we stayed in our dark basement like room. Hotel public areas, location, restaurants, service and ski in ski our amenities all outstanding and 5 star but you just need to pay over $1800 Per night to get more than a base room even when booked 6 months ago!

Good 6.0
I was really excited to stay there but I was really disappointed that the spa section for women was closed. That’s the whole reason I stayed there. I wish they advertised it to set the correct expectations for guests. I’m bummed I spent money to stay here.

Beware the soft beds
Loved the hot tub but the beds are way too soft.

Pretty and quiet stay
Things I wish I knew before staying: valet parking only, with an extra charge. Resort fee I wasn't aware of either until check out. Everyone there was helpful and nice. The property is large and a little confusing to get around. Jetted tub sounded like an actual jet (so loud). It was peaceful, cozy and beautiful.

Weekend at the Stein
Staying there is absolutely wonderful, the staff are some of the nicest you will find, everybody there goes out of their way to help with anything they can. Couldn’t ask for better scenery.

Nice getaway!
We had a nice time. It's quite expensive and I felt a little bit older condition but service was great. The lights on our balcony where our hot tub were did not work we noticed and we told the front desk on our way out to dinner. Once we returned, they were fixed. Can't beat that.

We had a short stay here after our wedding. The property itself is beautiful, and I’m glad we sprang for the luxury room with its own hot tub and Mountain View. Wonderful service and friendly staff. Recommend!

Last minute stop
We loved the place. Labor Day weekend it was filled with families and the pool water was heated to about 88-perfect for the weather. Room was nice and the staff were incredible! Could not have asked for better service! Good hiking too!
