This popular pub/hotel was busy on the Friday night we stayed, but that did not detract from the service. Our room was provided with two fans and so it was nicely cool. The TV was not working, but the manager succeeded with one channel. The B & B breakfast was very good and vegetarian/vegan/ gluten-free options were available. There was a garden area (busy on a Friday night) with a pizza shack and children’s playground. All in all a very good experience for us two elderly people.

Lovely overnight stay for morning Gatwick flight; perfect for Cophall airport parking (300m away!) Staff very friendly and welcoming. Gorgeous food in bar for dinner. Really nice room & comfy bed. Only disappointment was that breakfast not available until 8am, which we had paid extra for when booking, not realising this - we had to leave by 8am.

We arranged a late arrival and were sent a code to let ourselves in no problem. Very comfy bed a good nights sleep ahead of our flight from Gatwick. The team were very friendly and chatty while we had coffee. Will certainly stay here again when flying from Gatwick.

This is a great place to stay, if you like pigs. It's a great place to stay if you don't. The rooms are in a separate buildng and not above the pub so quiter (some of them do overlook the pub garden). The pub is fine with good food and excellent service. The menu goes above standard "something and chips"and is well presented.
