Excellent resort facilities and hospitality.
Beautiful resort, easy to get into town down the hills, friendly staff all speak good English. Guests were from across Western Europe not only Brits. The Beds and room were very comfortable. My only negative was the walls seemed quite thin once it was occupied next door. Hopefully the next major refurbishment insulation is added to walls to make it fully quiet, but this is really trivial. Overall it was very comfortable and a great place to relax and revive. Having the kitchen area was also very useful when you get fed up of restaurant food and want to prepare something lighter. Would definitely stay here again.

Considering it is one of the oldest hotels in Lido Eden MaR remains one of the best ! Amazing gardens, comfortable up to date accommodation and excellent service! Breakfast at Alfama was very nice each time I went! Would recommend this hotel and PortoBay Group.
