great location!
have been staying in this hotel multiple times. though there are many other newer hotels around umeda or Osaka JR station withalmost the same price range, I still prefer Hotel New Hankyu Osaka due its location and most importantly the airport limo bus stop is just right in front of the hotel.

Convenient, comfortable, classic & great breakfast
A huge hotel with art deco style, connected to JR Osaka & Hankyu building. Our twin room was small but very comfortable and clean, just a little stuffy as the windows did not open and the air conditioner wasn't very strong. This is a massive hotel with hundreds of guests so we had to wait in line for 15 minutes to check in and 10 to 15 minutes to enter the restaurant for breakfast each morning. The breakfast buffet is extensive with Japanese and continental food. This hotel is very smart with a classic feel and the staff friendly & attentive. There are a number of restaurants/bakeries/ cafes within the hotel and you are easily connected to hundreds more in the surrounding area.

This property shows its age. But staff manage to keep it clean and comfortable. The only thing I can complain is the carpet. It is not as clean as I expected. In general, this hotel provide an excellent value.

There is no air conditioning in this building. Only option is to open the window for cool air. While the pictures look new the property is actually very old with peeling wallpaper and old fixtures. The room was so small the bathroom door hits the bed so it won’t open all the way. Avoid this property in warm weather. Location is great but very noisy due to the train tracks being literally under your window.

While the location is very convenient, the pictures online were nothing like the actual room. There is no air conditioning in the entire building. The only air circulation is opening a window, which is just above the train station so incredibly noisy and hot. Never consider staying during the summer! The bathroom door hit the bed so cannot open completely the room is so small.
