Lobby is nice and modern. Room was fine other than scaffolding outside window due to construction. Interior halls and doors need modernization. This is a very nice property and reasonably priced. There’s direct access to the beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. The lobby bartender is very friendly and popular with the guests. We did have an ocean view that was mostly obstructed by the palm trees in the pool area. The property is under construction so I’m excited to see the property once it’s finished. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely stay again.

The location of this hotel was great--right on Miami Beach with a tourist bus stop about a block away. But the property is showing its age for sure. The tile around the bathtub was cracked and the tub itself didn't drain well. The pool is unheated, so the water was very cold. But the staff was lovely, the beds comfortable.

I stay here every year because it’s the best of the still-affordable hotels on the boardwalk. The rooms are fine, the access to the beach at sunrise is easy, and in December, when I’m there, breakfast opens 10 minutes after my sunrise swim.
