Nice hotel & bar - but dated & noisy rooms.
Hotel was nice, reception and concierge friendly, bar was cool, restaurant looked good too and pretty popular. The room though was fairly standard if not a little disappointing. It was quite dated and the air conditioning unit was wall mounted and unbelievably noisy! I had to unplug it and judging by other reviews I'm not the only one to say that. I was also situated at the back of the hotel and was woken up around 6.30am to a really noisy loading bay (or something like that - not sure exactly what it was). The toilet was also very noisy - after flushing it seemed to take 4 hours to refill or maybe it was just broken? I do not normally complain, but I feel a little let down by this hotel as the rest of it is really quite nice. Also - for the price paid I would expect a pair of slippers at least, if not a gown as well. The mini bar was also empty for some reason. Location is good - near the shops and restaurants. Overall it wasn't bad, but the dated room and noise levels let this hotel down unfortunately.
