This hotel is a delightful place and wellworth a visit. Our room was amazing and the staff are very attentive with much emphasis on their guests to ensure a great experience during their stay at a real castle
Amazing hotel, amazing room/suite, amazing bed! Amazing shower/bath, amazing food, amazing drink, amazing staff, amazing views, Honestly do not have a bad word to say.
This was my 3rd time staying here. It's comfortable, quiet, but also good for meeting other guests. The setting is lovely with acres to walk in. I always make sure to eat at least one dinner here as the food is excellent. Breakfast has always been spot on also. Close to Rosslyn Chapel and only 20 min. To downtown Edinburgh.
Fabulous castle stay. Amazing rooms and great setting. We had the honeymoon suite which was a perfect small apartment in the castle. Limited dining menu but very well executed and presented food. Dining in the dungeon was atmospheric.
Lovely hotel let down by some poor service from staff in the bar. Dining in the dungeon was brilliant however the menu was limited due to covid and did not change in the 4 nights we stayed. At these prices that is dissapointing.
Really enjoyed our stay at this historic castle. The themed four poster bedroom (Room 10) was as we expected and had seen better days but this did not impact on our experience. All the staff we met were courteous and endeavoured to make our stay a positive one. The meal in the Dungeon restaurant was certainly a highlight. Food cooked to perfection. Well done chef and the team.
Lovely grounds and great service! I would definitely stay there again.
We loved our stay at Dalhousie, the room (themed room) was comfy and quiet. The food was excellent. Shame we couldn’t enjoy the spa but completely understandable in the current climate. Will be back!
Definitely a place to stay if you are looking for something unusual and with plenty of character. Excellent service and food. Beware there is no lift so a third floor room it quite a hike. The internal layout is pretty difficult to get around, although given that it is a castle then forgivable.
Had a lovely stay at Dalhousie Castle. We actually stayed in the lodge house a hundred meters away from the castle. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms were massive and felt just as luxurious and intricately decorated as the castle rooms. We have no complaints about our stay. The staff enforced Covid measures very well. There were plenty of options to choose from for breakfast and it was delicious. Overall, had an unforgettable stay at Dalhousie and would like to return one day!
