IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY
The hotel was very clean and updated. The customer service was great. Everyone was helpful. I highly recommend it and they are pet friendly! Also it is minutes away from the heart of Pittsfield with quick access to other towns.
The property was a little “run down”. Needs some updating. We went to bar approx 1 hr after it was to open and the beer coolers were still locked? Attendant didn’t have keys and was very confused about everything. We left and walked a few blocks to an off site bar and restaurant
Overall meh experience. Room was fine, but the service was not great. Parking garage is incredibly sketchy and the employee working in there was useless in helping us feel safe (3 females at 9:30pm). The entire parking situation is a joke. The main level garage is small, so we got directed to the lower-lever garage which was dark and the only car there appeared to have been abandoned weeks ago. We did not feel comfortable parking there because it felt so unsafe. The employee working in the upper level of the garage and directed us to the lower level did not offer to walk us up from the sketchy lower level. Once we got to the room, the TV wasn't working so we called for help. The same employee who did not help us in the parking garage came up to fix it, and was NOT wearing a mask. That is unacceptable. Overall it was fine for the price we paid, but I wish we had paid more money to stay somewhere better.
Just your average holiday inn in a small town. Nice
I would recommend this hotel. It’s in a great location in downtown Pittsfield. The staff was friendly and responsive. All staff was masked (Covid) and there were plexiglass between them and customers at the check in desk. The room was nice and clean with a beautiful view of the mountains.
The restaurant was good but the bartender manager guy at jaes was super creepy and made us uncomfortable. He kept asking what kind of guys we were into and asked if we were going swimming today (the pool is next to the bar, he wanted to watch). Basically he ruined the hotel pool and bar for us. We avoided him a lot lol
Honestly when I arrived I thought it was a nice wonderful place. I walked into my room and saw a 5 ft stain, brown. Now this is a pet friendly hotel so we called the inspector we thought it was poop or some kind of sticky blob. There was an empty liquor bottle and no microwave or toaster. They will charge you for extra on your card as well so be prepared! If you park in the garage you may have damage to your car. So I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone more than 1 night in a deluxe suite and that’s it.
Over all it was a great stay. I would recommend this any one visiting Berkshire
