The location is the best thing about staying at this hotel. It's a 5 min walk from metro and city center, but the hotel itself is very run down and crappy. Tiny room, tiny "double" bed, plugged drains, and just blah... and zero view unless you count other rooms. Not great.

Apt booked was great for younger kids Had to exchange other apt for something on ground level safer Apt too many steps outside and inside unit Moved to a a lot smaller room, wish it would of had refrig and microwave We stayed 6 nights Requested room service daily first happen? Towels were always delivered no tidy up room nor change sheets! Please confirm at desk what you requested! Breakfast was always plentiful and good! Taxi pick up easy Hotel is very close to many sights, many walking distance Overall a good stay Wish we would of received a price adjustment on exchange of rooms Big time downgrade from apt unit to small bedroom Same rate 😔

We booked this because it was 4+ rated. It might have started out that way, and with maintence and repairs could be there again, but right now it’s 3 stars at best— and without the great staff and great location, the property alone would be 2 stars at best. Mouldy washrooms, broken windows, peeling paint, stained carpets. All things that are theoretically are easy to maintain, but once that maintence stops, the place is “let go” and turns the diamond back to sand.

W e stay here for four nights . Staff were responsible and kind . Photos of rooms are totally different whit real condition . It seems that all rooms were not renovated. Our bed has problem and it was very serious . Ventilation of rooms was not enough of no function properly . Location of hotel is good and access to other point and public trancfer is near the hotel .

The location was fantastic-close to Rembrandtplein with all its bars and restaurants and easy walking all over central Amsterdam. Room was bigger than expected and bed was huge and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and spacious with good water pressure. Only small niggle was no way to turn on the fan and little evidence fan was coming on automatically, so very steamy after showers. Breakfast was delicious with lots of traditional options as well as breakfast staples. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had the family room (which is adjacent to the hotel) and it was perfect for our needs. Spacious, quiet and hosted the fact that the kids had the upper floor to themselves was great. Super fiendly staff and the location (and the views from the fourth floor) was amazing. Would recommend for a family vacation with older kids (the stairs are steep and narrow). Bike shop next door so it doesn’t get any easier to tour the city.
