Great location - less than friendly staff!
My adult daughter and I have just returned for a weekend long stay at the hotel. Our room was ok, the beds were comfy. The robes/slippers/toiletries were a nice touch as was the bowl of fruit. But the bathroom was tiny and the area around the shower and window was very tired with a rickety old stainless steel sliding shower screen, with marked/chipped tiles/grout and the water pressure in the shower was low. There were some stains on the carpet which I guess we couldn't help but notice, the wifi worked, it was free and the room was reasonably spacious. We did not eat the hotel so cannot comment on the food - for us it was purely a base from which to spend the weekend, so in that regard it did the trick. The one area for improvement was the staffing, they were just not welcoming at all, no smiles, no engagement, no conversation. Yes they called us taxi's when we needed them but they made no effort to interact with us at all. The performed their roles but no more than that! That was the most disappointing part of the visit. However, would we stay again yes, as the location is perfect for us and now not expecting any engagement on any further visits, we won't be disappointed!

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was good as well. It is just 3 short blocks away from Oxford Street, so it is in a good spot to access shopping and the tube.

Tiny room. Couldn't walk around the bed without banging into the wall mounted TV. TV was faulty and kept cutting out every few minutes no matter what channel. Room service food was not good. Other than that the room was clean and bed was OK. The hotel just needs a bit of a refresh.
