Beautiful room!
We stayed one night in a nicely decorated, spacious, high-ceiling room at the Queen Anne. Things to know: Check-in for this property is at the Prytania Park hotel, just around the corner. Go there first to get your keys. It's really easy to just park in the big lot at Prytania Park and walk the 2 mins to the Queen Anne (assuming you don't have too much luggage!). The Queen Anne is actually a large house with multiple hotel rooms. Our room had a bedroom, a small walk-thru room with a refrigerator and microwave, and a large bathroom. There is an ice machine on the first floor and two parking spaces (one is handicap) behind the house. There is no onsite staff - dialing 0 will get you the front desk at Prytania Park. Breakfast is also at Prytania Park, and is typical continental-style. There are good choices for a bigger meal within walking distance (e.g., St Charles Tavern).

We enjoyed the stay. It was nice to stay in an old Victorian home that had all the comforts of home. The only downside was that we couldn’t check in until 4:00 pm. The cable car is within walking distance but they are usually full. We liked the room and would stay there again.

Great location poor accommodations
Great location close to the trolly or a scenic walk to the French quarter. I stayed here a few years back and the room was great then. It's appears that they don't put money back into the property because the bed was the worst I've ever slept on, the room was in poor shape, and the faucets leaked. I love the area and the friendly staff, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Take Two for a southern welcome.
My first experience was driving up the driveway by the valet desk and being told at 2:10 that yes indeed I was in the right place but check in is not until 3PM. So instead of being able to have my car valeted. I had to find a place on the street to park and walk around the area. On my return I was warmly welcomed but it seems that I could have left my car and my bags with the valet originally and relaxed in the lobby. Everything after the initial encounter was fantastic. Front desk clerk was polite and welcoming. The room was exceptional. Clean and good view of the area. Amenities were wonderful. I would definitely return.
