A comfortable place to stay.
Comfortable room and good facilities. Breakfast good. Only issue was rather noisy on Saturday night leading to disturbed sleep.

Not the greatest stay!
Disappointed with the stay at the Village Hotel. Underwhelming arrival when I tried to check in around midday to be promptly told that the cleaners were still doing their rounds and check in was 3pm. I was half way through the automated process and asked if I could continue just to see if the room was available. I was then told “yes you can but will be charged an early check in fee”. Nice welcome! Apart from that one of the lounge areas had the aircon constantly blowing out freezing air. Everybody was complaining and eventually someone switched it off a day later. I don’t get the impression this establishment is customer focused. That said some staff were friendly and helpful so not all were grumpy!
