Easter getaway
Overall hotel stay pleasant. The smell of the swimming pool was strong as soon as you enter the hotel. Kids enjoyed the pool. Our family room did not have a microwave or fridge on our floor. Good public transport links to downtown Toronto. Friendly staff.

Overnight stay
Beautiful hotel. At an event until midnight and left at 6:30 next morning so no time to enjoy the amenities. No elevator during construction currently.

Exceptional 10.0
The hotel is very beautiful and the location off highway 401 is very convenient with closeby amenities. The rooms needs to be updated with furniture and carpet. The stay however was comfortable and relaxing.

Very good 8.0
The hotel was pleasant to be in. The main problem was that smokers were permitted in the area by the hotel entrance. I am allergic to cigarette smoke. Every time I walked in & out of the hotel I would sneeze. I is a unpleasant experience. There are cigarette stubs all over the landscaping at the entrances. Perhaps there could be an assigned smoking zone someplace where it would not effect the guests. I did mention it to the associate at the front desk. He shrugged it off. Did not seem to bother him. Parking arrangements could be better.

The Have-not Hotel
Somewhere between and the delta one of my two rooms were not booked (but I was billed). I had to book a second room upon arrival (previous rate not honoured). The beds are doubles not queens. The pillows are lumpy, the showers are very dated with mildew throughout. The pool is the only upside but the water slide is only open a few hours a day and has a height restriction with no regard for swimming ability of children. For some reason the rooms have granite table top decor but are still using the original carpet from the day the hotel was built. The staff was friendly despite giving me information that I didn’t want to hear. The food pretends at being an upscale hotel but anyone with eyes will see otherwise. Long story short I’ve stayed at many many hotels for work and vacations, including deltas, and this has been my worst experience in a long time.
