We enjoyed our stay at the Sanderson London. The location was walking distance to several restaurants, as well as to Oxford Street. The street was also quiet, so when it was time for sleeping, there was very little outside noise to disturb us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and made our stay very pleasant. We also really enjoyed using the spacious and well equipped gym while we were at the property for 5 nights. Our room was large, and the king sized bed was a great treat - our only complaint was that the AC just wasn't able to keep our room cool during the heat wave, and house keeping kept raising the blinds in the day time, when we tried to keep them lowered during the day to help keep our room cool. Overall a good experience!

The hotel is very decorated but this comes at the expense of extreme inconvenience: the toilet cannot be really closed to avoid smell and noise from spreading in the room, the open closet is located just near the toilet, the shower water is leaking outside the shower space, the towel can only be placed far from the shower - so inconvenient, one side of the bed is too far from the wall to connect your cell phone, etc. etc. - you pay a fortune and get the lowest terms possible. Unless decor is your only interest in a hotel, avoid at all cost. The breakfast was very good and descently priced for guests.
