Very European.
Our stay was amazing from the moment we pulled to the hotel. The concierge was attentive and called us by name which doesn’t always happen. The room was immaculate. There was turn down. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere. We also did afternoon tea at 4 pm which was enough food to get us to breakfast. We will defiantly go again.

Fabulous premises and even better service!
We stayed for a total of 8 nights at The Palace Hotel. The staff and the service were OUTSTANDING! Everything that we needed was offered in a matter of minutes! Everyone was friendly and the room impecable! The only room for improvement will be the internet and the TV. The signal was weak in both cases. But this little issue won't stop us from staying again in this wonderful hotel!

Nice but not 5 stars
Stayed in the Family suite to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday for 4 nights while staying in Barcelona. The hotel was nice, the rooms were large and clean. My reasons for not being able to give a 5 star review, the breakfast restaurant in the morning is in a tent outside which is cold, they have space heaters but for the amount of money for the hotel and the 35 Euros a person for breakfast no one should be cold eating breakfast. Also we asked the front desk for a small fridge or microwave for our room for my toddlers milk and they did not have any. I have stayed in way less nicer hotels and nicer ones and all have no problem bringing a microwave or already have a small fridge for use. Also when I asked them to come have someone take the baby crib out because we didn’t need it and it was in the way, no one ever came. So we ended up taking it out ourselves and putting it in the hallway. For a 5 star expensive hotel, I expect those things to be taken care of. So I don’t think its worth the 5 stars, there are better 5 star hotels we have stayed at.

This property is first class. The staff are so attentive to your every need. Bar in the great hall was super inviting, upstairs terrace bar and lounge area are wonderful, an amazing evening view of the city lights and the famous Sagrada Familia cathedral.
