Comfitable and Convenient
Convenient location; good for business and great for access to local tourist venues, food and drink. More comfortable than a hotel.

Good value, great location
We spent 2 nights at this hotel. Were very pleased with standard and the excellent location. 5 mins from Holyrood Palace and minutes from restaurants and tourist attractions. Only drawback is the limited parking but we booked parking in advance so it wasn't a problem. Excellent value for money.

Top notch “aparthotel” - will stay here again
Extremely good and well equipped “aparthotel”. Excellent quality, very modern (think “Premier Inn” style) and immaculately clean. The photos and some of the reviews made me think it might be a bit dowdy and old-fashioned but it wasn’t at all. Superior to some I’ve stayed in: manned reception, daily cleaning and on-site parking, just like a hotel. But also full size oven, and a washing machine, which is often missing from “aparthotels”. The kitchen has all the basics so you don’t need to bring your own: tea, coffee and sugar, milk, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. There is a cafetière but you need to bring your own ground coffee for that. No catering or snack bar on site, but a decent Tesco Express round the corner. The location is excellent on the edge of the Royal Mile etc and just a 10 min walk from the station. But quietly situated down a back street. In fact that was my only niggle. Despite being so central you do need to walk down a bit of a lonely back street/alley to get to it, which didn’t feel as safe as it might be late at night - though I had no trouble at all. Overall this would be one of my top choices of places to stay if I was visiting Edinburgh again
