good clen and friendly staff
Although this hotel on the dates of our stay (11 - 18 April) was going through a renovation in Dining and Bar areas we found this hotel to be very welcoming with friendly and helpful staff, our only problem was with the room(403) I had asked for a twin room but what we got was a double bed and a sofa converted into another double bed, thus not leaving a lot of floor space, there was only one 18" wardrobe with 4 hangers (this was not enough space for two people staying for a week) The TV was of a good size, apart from the bedroom this is a nice, friendly and clean Hotel and I would stay in at the next time that we come to the Burry saint Edmonds area

It’s OK.
It was under renovation in April so there was some disturbance. The WiFi is patchy if you have a room away from the reception area.

Poor. Wouldn’t go back.
Poor service. Upon check out I was standing for 15 mins at an empty reception. No means of an apology. Also, what hitel doesn’t supply the simplest things like hairdryers. The WiFi was also horrific.

À good hotel currently being redecorated
The hotel is being redecorated so some parts of the hotel were closed off but this didn't affect the stay. The rooms have also recently been revamped and are now clean and tidy. The beds are very large and are firm but comfortable. The only possible issue is the "mini bar" (a tray on the table) with very expensive drinks and chocolate (£1.95 for a twix). This is very tempting and accessible to younger children and could prove costly during your stay. A small fridge would be better and would also keep the drinks cold.

My wife and I felt the hotel in general was very tired looking. You were having building work done but, even so, carpets on the approach to rooms should still be kept clean. The room we had was not suitable for a woman who wishes to do her hair and make-up ie there was no mirror near to a plug for a hairdryer and there was not enough appropriate light to see what she's doing. Even the second room we were allocated needed a chair moving across the room and an appliance cable stretching across the hallway of the room. We couldn't eat breakfast because of the renovation work and had to go to the nearby Sainsbury's.
