Perfect two night stay
From the moment Dave collected our bags from the station (complimentary service), we knew we were in for a treat at No1. The room was lovely and probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Plus the linen and pillows were sumptuous. The room was ultra clean and the bathroom products were great quality. Sleeping at the front of the hotel means you can hear traffic noise (I’m a light sleeper) but the road wasn’t constantly busy. The staff, ambiance and decor were excellent. All infused with the friendliness of York. It really was a perfect two night stay, 10 mins walk from the Minster.

Incredible hotel
We absolutely loved our stay at No.1. Easily one of the best hotel's we've ever stayed in. We were there to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday and we couldn't have picked a more relaxing, calm, stylish place to do that. The staff were SO friendly. The breakfast was unbelievable. We literally don't have a single negative to add. We can't wait to come back

Lovely
Great location - close enough that you are able to walk to the walls of the city in 5 mins but far enough that it’s quiet . Stylish and chic . Rooms were comfortable with good amenities - nespresso , tea , a common pantry . Service was friendly and efficient . All in all a great stay
