Ideal choice
It may be classed as a budget hotel, but there is no scrimping on the important things for a pleasant stay. A clean & well thought-out room, comfortable bed, cleverly designed shower room, tea and coffee, free wi-fi and a tv. All the staff I met were extremely pleasant and friendly. I decided to have the optional breakfast - an "all you can eat" buffet of hot & cold items. The hot items were regularly refilled so nothing "sat" for long and a member of staff was always around should you need assistance. The location of the hotel is ideal for shopping and theatre, and just around the corner from the rail station. I wont hesitate to book a room here next time I stay in Leicester.

Terrible manager, parking and atmosphere.
What an awful experience, I'd be nice and call the room bang average but the staff at the hotel are not as professional as most hotels. This was then compounded when the parking which looks like it is on the hotel site decides to fine you by a private company. No warnings given at check in, no proper signage and no description of this apparently common issue anywhere when booking. The manager then said "tough luck" to me in the morning like I decided to play the lucky dip and pulled out some wrapped up coal. Really awful experience. I've stayed at over 50 hotels for around 80 nights via this app, congratulations to this hotel for the worst experience of them all.

Misguiding parking
Hotel was fine, service was great however, I did receive a parking fine for parking in the car park outside. I was asked if I had parked but I was not asked where. I could see my car just outside my room window so it is reasonable to assume I was in the hotel car park but apparently not. I assume this happens alot as there were another 7 or 8 cars with fines too. If this car park is not able to be used by hotel guests then the parking you do have is woefully inadequate. I would not have considered staying with you if I thought I might struggle for parking.
