We were not allowed to sit by the bar to eat. Others were. Kids were told not to walk in a certain location, even though it was the shortest way from the tables that were available. All breakfast table were taken, we had to go to a back room, my 6 year old did not know the right path. We also could not leave the bags in the room before exact check-in time, even though hotel was empty when we arrived. Location ia good. Appearance is good.

Inadequate qualities of tea/coffee/milk in room but staff were happy to resolve. At over 30 CHF per person per night, breakfast was too expensive for 4 people for 2 nights, but there is an Aldi one tram stop away, so made and ate breakfast in room.

Short stay for a long layover and room was clean and spacious for our family of 4. Staff in front desk not very friendly at all. There was a man who yelled at me for asking about a taxi his partner ordered for me and said 2 minute wait. After 10-15 min I approached desk to see if they can see an ETA and first he ignored me while having a conversation and not acknowledging I was standing there . A couple came and skipped me and he was willing to help them until I said excuse me I have been waiting. I asked if he can check ETA of taxi and he started yelling and flipping the screen for me to see that the cab is 5-7 min away and they’ll get there when they get there. I politely said thank you I was just asking because I don’t know how things for there since it was my first visiting. Super hostile and not friendly guy.

Staff at front desk wasn’t the friendliest when we checked in or stopped by to ask questions. One guy was busy watching the World Cup and the dark girl that was there late evening didn’t even crack a smile when we asked her questions. Room smelled a little odd when we walked in, I’m assuming from the carpet that hasn’t been cleaned well. Other than that, everything else seemed cleaned. Breakfast was great with hot/cold options. And the breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. The worst part was the high cost to self-park your own car in an unattended parking lot in front of the hotel. Very overpriced for hotel guests. They should at least offer a discount.
