Superb Quality.
The hotel is charming and beautifully decorated and it really feels quality. The express passes are a huge bonus. The restaurants are exceptional and we enjoyed everything about our stay, the only criticism is how hard it was to work the machines in the laundrette! We will definitely be back!

Best beds in Orlando
Mattress and pillows are great. Bath towels are too small. Property is in very good condition FOR ITS AGE. Front desk people are surly and overly pompous. It’s not a cheap hotel. Needs true authentic staff not stuffy Need to be more sincere. Quick service italian is TERRIBLE. People couldn’t be nicer but food was BAD.

Great hotel! I’ve stayed at every Universal Orlando resort and this is by far the best. Very unique atmosphere is an escape from the normal theme park resorts. You really do feel like you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the parks but so close to all fun.

We always stay at Portofino when we visit Universal. The rooms are a little tired now but otherwise they are comfortable and clean. We had 2 parcels delivered to the property and were charged $15 plus tax for EACH parcel. which we were unaware of. The first hotel I have ever experienced this with!
