Underwhelmed in Bath
The tired hotel had pleasant reception staff. The hotel bar was very 1990s, 3 high stools then sifas and chairs around card tables. Very.bland and not too comfy. Breakfast was shocking. Tea bags, pretended to be all Twinnings but the staff wanted us to use own brand rubbish. Staff actively put the Twunnings ones away ( eng bfast ) as they were obviously costing alot. Hot bfast was mediocre. Barely baked bacon and baked eggs, even though they had a frying station....... Fresh bread was kept out to look the part but the lack of a bread knife kept costs down. Jams and marmalade were in giant bowls with big spoons, again cost saving rather then individual portions All in all a poor breakfast. Very 1990s

Cheaper than some but still should be clean.
Hotel was in a good place for the centre but it’s old and needs updating, beds seemed clean but the room could have been cleaned much better especially the bathroom it was quite grubby, no excuse for cleanliness in my book it can be old but clean. Would call it 3 star not 4 but still should be cleaner. Breakfast was quite good, staff friendly.

Wouldn’t recommend
Chose hotel because with Hilton, know what standard to expect, severely disappointed, dusty room, no water bottles or tea selection, tv not working properly, uncomfortable bed. Now that I’ve been to bath and seen how small a place it is, would definitely book one of the other boutique hotels, as there are plentiful cafes/ restaurants dotted about and most hotels are central. Stay in Hilton regularly, and have to say, it’s the worst I’ve stayed at.

Bath with Hilton
The hotel is ok and very close to the centre, the room was very small so was the bed. Bath is not car friendly but Hilton do have a deal with the car park below the hotel.
