Dublin Skylon Hotel
Nice friendly hotel with great breakfast
Nice friendly hotel competitively priced as around 20 mins from centre. No problems, as on bus route and cheap as chips on the bus.

Classy Skylon
Lovely place, very surprising as when we booked it we thought it would be a typical 'airport' type lodge, but it was sufficiently away from the airport and situated in a nice student area. We were meeting Friends from new York and travelling around Ireland for a few days; it was an excellent resting point and well worth another visit when we go to Dublin again

Great stay!
What a great place! Really lovely hotel on the outside and in. The room was extremely spacious, comfy bed, the bathroom was a comfortable size. Our room was cleaned everyday and a bottle of water was supplied. The lobby of the hotel is very roomy with plenty of lounging space available. There is an on-site restaurant which is quite lovely with a bar as well. Our booking did not include breakfast however the cost per person is 12 euros and it a great breakfast. Lots of choices as well soya milk and gluten free options were offered. We did not arrive with a car but if you have one they have parking available in their parking lot on the front of the hotel. The location is about 30 minutes from the airport by bus and 10 to 15 minutes to the city center dependent on traffic. Multiple buses can take you to and from the city center which is very handy. The hotel is located next to the Dublin City University so there are a lot of options for transport as well as plenty of cabs run past the hotel as it is on a main road. However we couldn't hear anything at night as the street becomes dead silent of traffic. Please note we stayed on the 4th floor of the hotel facing the street. Overall I would absolutely stay here again, really nice hotel.
