Easy access to both city and airport
We chose to stay here as it was easy to get to the city centre and the airport and being a bit further out wasn't in a really busy area. The hotel is under going some refurbishment and the lobby area was being worked on which didn't look very inviting however the staff were friendly and efficient. The room we had over looked the road and was quite noisy at times and although looked well appointed there was little hanging/drawer space which meant we lived from the suitcase for three days. The room had been upgraded at sometime although the bathroom was getting 'tired' everything was clean on arrival. We arrived back after a long day out on the second day to find the room had not been serviced which was not ideal as we were tired. We were told this was because the hotel was busy due to a local concert. That's fine but surely they would have known that and should've allocated extra staff. We had a meal in the bar area restaurant which was very tasty and we were made to feel very welcome. The restaurant manager was extremely pleasant and spent some time chatting to us and discussing Irish Whiskey even giving me a small taster. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return in fact it would be nice to see the end result of what has been quite a facelift.

A Comfortable, well located hotel
We were happy with this hotel, some refurb work in the lobby was a minor inconvenience

Great for overnight stay
Renovation work underway, but staff very apologetic and workmen didn't work on Saturday. Only thing that disturbed us was inconsiderate other guests chatting loudly in corridor outside our room at 3am. Room very comfortable and well equipped. Glass of prosecco on arrival was a welcome touch.

Major building work being done
It would have been nice if we had been told about major building work being done, out of three night stay only had hot water for one, The WiFi was intermittent When I spoke to reception they just said very sorry it’s because of all the work being done. I asked as way of an apology if it was possible to maybe have breakfast on the hotel but was declined...
