We had a lovely stay. The food was delicious and the staff were awesome. Erika and Felipe, in the buffet area, were very accommodating. Erika is definitely one of the hardest workers I’ve seen—that young lady needs to be promoted. She is very dedicated!!! The cleaning lady was awesome too. Overall, we had an amazing time. Super awesome service!!! All the staff deserve a raise—such great service!!!

The Reef playacar is a great place to stay but if you are told that they have sister resorts that you are welcome to visit just remember if you are all inclusive at the Reef Playacar you are not necessarily all inclusive at the other two sister resorts.

The pool/beach area was really nice & so was our room. We paid extra for the premium room, which was to include a bottle of wine & beer stocked in the mini fridge. I had to go ask for the wine & beer, was told that I didn't get wine because I didn't do the upgrade online but they did give me a bottle of wine, they only put 2 beers in the room daily & we had cans of soda pop. The premium upgarde isn't really worth the money. Also upon check it we were told or given towel cards had to go back to the office & ask for those. When we arrived we had 2 wash cloths in our bathroom, but didn't get any other clean wash cloths unless we asked for them, they gave us clean towels daily, except for our last day & our room didn't get cleaned at all so we had to go ask for clean towels & wash cloths, we weren't impressed with the housecleaning services.

The Reef Playacar Resort was a beautiful and spectacular resort in Playa del Carmen. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The place was nice and clean. The dining and restaurant was superb. The amenities were great. The Spa was amazing. The beach was always beautiful and relaxing. Awesome place !!!
