Room was nice, however it was next to the theater so it was loud at night. Food was limited and mediocre at the buffet. No poolside service. Seemed like they were short staffed everywhere. The snack bar food was awful and it took about 40 minutes to get a pulled pork supposedly ( the meat was cut into chunks) and cold French fries.

The rooms were everything we needed, the staff and restaurants were great, the beach was spectacular, the water was warm and clean and no coral or rocks, my wife loved her massages, all in all a fantastic place. My only major complaint was the food. The selection was really not that great and the quality was average. We stayed at the Reef Coco Beach in March and they by far had a better selection and quality of food. Another complaint was that we were not allowed to sit in the hot tub with our all inclusive package, it was not that way at the Coco beach resort. The beach was beautiful, clean rooms, and atmosphere with the jungle was great. I will revisit the Coco Beach resort but not the Playacar.
