    Good service, small rooms

    Staff was very kind and nice. Cleanliness of the room was below standard, especially considering it was a 4.5 stars hotel. Room was very small and furniture created a very dark and gloomy ambient.

    Mixed feelings

    Positive side: absolutely fantastic breakfast Negative side: the use of dark brown colors everywhere gave me a depressing feeling and a lack of freshness. No wardrobe in the room. Bedside table far to small, the size of a pocket book.

    Old style hotel (built in 1890s) in the very center of Umea. Unique interiors that combine bronze, wood, paintings and modern hologram room doors. Facilities are all top notch, despite the edge of the building.

    the check in process did not go well I believe I was deliberately misled by the hotel with the rooms they offered I paid for a double bed and it was the worst check in process ever dissussing bunk beds.. I go to hotels to relax not to have discussions. that's why the room was booked on the internet, they should have photos of the beds or rooms for people who are not familiar with BUNKBEDS IN SWEDEN
