Great location
Enjoyed our stay. Pleasant and helpful staff on reception and in rooftop bar. Very good location, everything within walking distance. Rooms looked bigger on photos, but clean and well equipped. Only drawback was bed was too hard and gave me a bad back by the 3rd night.

Excellent Hotel close to Colosseum
Hotel and exterior was clean and well kept. Room was serviced every day and was very clean; it was a decent size with a large bed (bigger rooms are available - suites); had tea/coffee making facilities; no view from window (we were on 2nd floor, maybe the rooms higher up had a view). The complementary buffet breakfast was very good with a decent choice of fare. The rooftop restaurant and bar was closed when we were there in early March (opens later in season), but had a look around and the setting was very scenic. We had a nightcap in the lobby bar, which was very pleasant, however it is expensive (34 euros for 2 gin & tonics). Excellent staff, both friendly and helpful, a real asset to the hotel.. The surrounding area appeared a bit run down on first sight, but it was actually very quiet and we felt safe throughout. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, however they are small and tucked away in the neighbouring streets; so do your research before going to pick out the restaurants to visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay near the Colosseum.

Capo D'Africa stay
Excellent Hotel - conveniently located for The Coliseum and central Rome. It is in a quiet location and the neighbourhood feels very safe. All the hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. The only negative was that there was no iron or ironing board in the room and we had to ask to have one brought to the room. Otherwise it was a superb one week stay in a what is a very likeable hotel.

Very good
Relaxing break
A 4 nights weekend break, friendly service..Micol and Uiuria brilliant. Aside the washhand bowl which blocked up a few times ..hotel comfortably, close to the coliseum and other attractions. The main Street could do with a bit of cleaning especially the roads leading to the attractions, littered with rubbish. Too residential.. your view from bedroom can be obstructed by neighbourhood clothes line and buildings.. nothing to be excited about
