    Very good 8.0
Having visited the Crowne Plaza before when friends were staying in the city I knew what to expect, beds very comfy, great service, very friendly staff. Unfortunately on the night we stayed kitchen service was very slow, the restaurant had ~15 tables in max and it took us just over an hour to get our food and with no explanation or apology for it. The food was very tasty though so can’t complain too much, I do wish they had more than one vegan option on the menu especially in a city like Glasgow that has such a big vegan scene! My partner had the chicken which he found to be quite a small portion, so after eating we went over to the bar to order drinks and ordered some snacky food, which again for nachos & bread took almost 40 minutes to arrive, even though it still wasn’t busy. Shortly after it arriving, the gig at the hydro had just finished so in cake a swarm of people heading straight for the bar so we decided to go back to the room. The beds are very comfy and the cleaning staff really do do an amazing job, we even got a complimentary late checkout of 2 hours! The next day when checking out we hadn’t been down for breakfast so decided to go back to the bar for a meal, service this time was the complete opposite, super quick with the food but still maintained the super tasty

    Very good 8.0
    Reasonable stay
The rooms allocated to us and the cirudir leading to the rooms were starting to look quite tired and could clearly do with smartening up. We had an end of corridor room and the draft from the fire escape staircase next to us was very cold. In addition the noise from the air-conditioning was deafening.

    Very good 8.0
Great location, room fine, but booked family room and just got a normal room set up for two people. Had to request additional towels, robes etc. Swimming pool and changing room areas and facilities a bit old and tired, but clean and functional.

Need better high chairs otherwise excellent
I love the Crowne Plaza and have stayed here before Only one tiny grouch The high chairs for wee ones have no trays on them making it impossible for a little person to feed themselves. No where to put their own little plate or cup We cancelled dinner in the restaurant on our second night and got food delivered from outside as we were happier eating in our room where our infant could sit on her own mat and feed herself

Club Rooms need painted and upgraded
Club Room, tiny TV, noisy air con and to be honest just desperately needs an upgrade, paint and £200 for a jiffy for a shabby room is disappointing.
