Exceptional10.0
Fantastic pyramid views
Fantastic location with perfect views of the pyramids at Giza. Great pool area, also with pools, good and cheap food and service. My only complaint was the pillow/bed combination - a bit hard mattress, a bit too soft pillows, but not a big deal!

A well situated hotel for the Pyramids with Excell
We stayed for two days and found the hotel to be well clean, well maintained with very friendly staff. The food was of a high standard and varied daily. The only down side was the size of the room size which for two adults and a child was a bit on the small side.

Stay here for the view.
- the lobby seems to be a hang out with two bars and was busy/felt rushed all the time - the staff are rushed and can be rude - the room was tiny, the bathroom even smaller. were 1 1/2 beds and not doubles. - room was dated and bring mosquito spray!! Our room was more invested than outside - Drawers had not been checked and found used mosquito repellent in drawer. - Was there all night. Its a party hotel vibe with some beer chugging lads by pool chatting up girls and late night loud music. I was on 6th floor and it was loud, would be worse lower down. + The view from the room with pyramid view is a must + great view from pool as well. + Buffet dinner was good.

Great views 20 US dollars for Internet rip off
Very run firm for a Meriden hotel, staff were great. No wifi unless you go to the lobby. There the Internet is terrible because everyone one else is in the lobby. I'm disabled so not impressed having to walk down everytime I need Internet. Shop selling chocolate at 3 dollars for a kit Kat each horrible man very rude and aggressive. Food was good and room was fine dusty everywhere and could not get in shower. They don't have disabled rooms. The view from room was fantastic of the pyramids. We would stay here again.

Not 5 star
My husband and I travelled to Cairo for 2 days as part of our honeymoon to Luxor. Initially they couldn’t find our booking. The lobby of the hotel was chic and I hoped our room would be the same. I was very disappointed. - Our room was tiny - The fridge was dirty - No refreshment tray or bottled water We had to find a street vendor to buy water. The next morning, we went to the restaurant for breakfast. The waiters ignored us until I stopped a waiter and asked for a table. No one took an order for tea/coffee so we helped ourselves to breakfast. Whilst waiting in the queue for eggs, a man walked in front of us and placed his order. My husband had enough of the bad attitude. He asked the chef why he took someone else's order when there was a queue? As we had no tea/coffee, we asked a manager who walked off in a huff. A few mins later a waiter came over with water and took our room number. He came back with the bill and asked for payment right away, as we hadn't registered a card. I didn’t expect this from a 5 star hotel. Thereafter at 5 mins intervals, waiters came to our table for payment. Needless to say, we didn’t finish breakfast. We settled the bill and left, upset and hungry. There are management failings in this hotel. My advice is, steer clear. When we asked to speak to a manager we were ignored and then finally told that a manager was not available! This ruined our Cairo stay and put a damper on our honeymoon.
